One of the most useful quality-of-life improvements added in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is enabling Pokémon to learn compatible Egg Moves from other party members during Picnics by using a special Battle Item known as the Mirror Herb. As its name suggests, this herb will permit a Pokémon to "mirror" another pocket monster's stat increases to enhance its own stats. This procedure does not require the herb holder to be of the same Egg Group as the Pokémon it is mirroring. As a result, Trainers do not have to deal with the stat or Move limitations of previous titles.
