A Captain America: New World Order fan trailer imagines Sam Wilson's first solo Marvel Cinematic Universe movie after the events of his series. Steve Rogers' time as Captain America came to an end in Avengers: Endgame as the now-retired hero passed on his shield to his partner. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier saw Anthony Mackie's character struggling with accepting the new title. But by the end of the season finale, Sam abandoned his mantle as Falcon and officially embraced the Captain America legacy. Not long after the finale, Marvel Studios revealed that Mackie would go on to star in Captain America 4, called New World Order.
