The Flash movie trailer has created some debate about if Christian Bale's Batman is also part of the movie. The DC Universe is going a multiverse route for Barry Allen's first solo movie. It comes right as new DC Studios co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran plan to relaunch the franchise, positioning The Flash as a reset point for the status quo. The movie still stars Ezra Miller's Barry Allen and some other existing DC heroes audiences met in recent films, such as Ben Affleck's Batman. However, The Flash's multiverse story also means that he is not the only version of the Dark Knight who will appear.
