Mace Windu's Lightsaber Hinted At His Dark Side Weakness

Star Wars lore hints at Mace Windu’s potential vulnerability to the dark side of the Force. Played by the iconic Samuel L. Jackson, Mace Windu is generally considered one of the most popular Jedi of all time. The character debuted in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, but he had percolated in George Lucas' mind from the very beginning. In fact, early incarnations of the character who would eventually evolve into Mace Windu were once considered as Luke's friend and even Leia's brother.
