9 Cut Storylines Lord Of The Rings Remakes Could Bring Back

It's been widely circulated that New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. will release an array of new Lord of the Rings movies to expand the franchise, but there are many cut storylines that could be brought back if Peter Jackson's trilogy was remade. Though popular, Jackson's movies were hardly true adaptations of J.R.R. Tolkien's high fantasy opus, and many events, characters, and themes were removed to focus more prominently on Frodo and the Fellowship getting the One Ring to Mordor. These changes had the unintended consequence of making certain narrative elements confusing, not to mention obfuscating some characters' motivations.
