More DCEU Cameos?! The DCU's First Movie Is Repeating The Flash's Biggest Mistake

DC Studios seems poised to repeat the biggest mistake of The Flash with the promise of more DCEU cameos in the Blue Beetle movie. Originally produced as a stand-alone superhero movie, the title character of Blue Beetle is now being promoted as "the first DCU character" by DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn. This has only confused the question of just where the movie stands in relation to the new DC Universe being established by Gunn's upcoming Superman: Legacy film, which is similarly billed as "the first DCU film."
