Warning: Spoilers ahead for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice!With the Deetz family returning for Beetlejuice 2, its important to understand how the original and new characters in the spooky bunch are related to each other. Though Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis Barbara and Adam Maitland were Beetlejuices main characters, the Deetzes and Michael Keatons titular character have become more synonymous with the franchise over the years. This is further emphasized by the notion that the Deetz family will be at the center of Beetlejuice 2s story, whereas it doesnt appear that Baldwin and Davis deceased characters will return for Tim Burtons 2024 sequel.
