Ryan Coogler Reveals Chadwick Boseman Was Too Sick To Read Original Black Panther 2 Script

Director Ryan Coogler revealed that he tried to get Chadwick Boseman to read the script for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, but the actor was "too sick" to read it. After the first Black Panther grossed $1.35 billion at the box office, a sequel was inevitable. Unfortunately, Boseman tragically passed away in 2020 from colon cancer at the age of 43.
