Absolute Wonder Woman’s Zatanna redesign, for example, has stripped her of the magician aesthetic and stage presence that she usually boasts, while a brand-new ongoing Zatanna series written and illustrated by Jamal Campbell is taking her role as Sorceress Supreme rather literally with a design that leans fully into her magical prowess as “Prime Magus” of the DC universe.
